Family Literacy Coordinator

Duties are consistent with a teaching position and coordinator of programs. Facilitates implementation of activities related to literacy and performs numerous clerical tasks in providing literacy services. Must have the knowledge and ability to perform intermediate computer tasks, possess excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in education or related field is required. The position is 24 hours per week with benefits. The wage is $17.70 per hour.

 The Eva K. Bowlby Public Library is seeking a Custodian/Janitor for immediate employment. The position is 17 hours per week with a wage of $15.00 per hour. Knowledge and experience of technical cleaning duties, such as mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, experience in the use specialized equipment and chemicals, and general maintenance of the facility is essential for success in this role. Equally important are the physical skills like stamina, strength to lift 50+ pounds, and the ability to stand and move for long periods.
